Malvern Borough Offering Free Shade Trees For Fall
Residents place orders now for a free shade tree to make their property a bit greener and shadier. Order yours by Sept. 10 to get yours.

MALVERN, PA – Once again, Malvern Borough and the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society are offering borough residents the chance to get a free shade tree for their property.
The borough and Pennsylvania Horticulture Society are providing a limited number of bare-root trees, free of charge, to residents.
Joe Bones, the town arborist, will choose trees with the highest survival rate in Malvern from the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society's stock.

Residents will be able to select small (full size up to 20 feet), medium (mature at 30 to 45 feet), or large (mature at more than 60 feet) trees.
Trees will be roughly 8 to 10 feet tall and will be delivered to your yard for planting this fall by the Public Works Department.

Orders must be placed by Sept. 10 and can be done by contacting the Shade Tree Commission at malvernstc@malvern.org.
Once orders are placed, more detailed information on species, planting, and delivery, will be made available to residents.
