Malvern Enacting Snow Emergency Tuesday Through Thursday
With a snow emergency in place, residents must obey certain guidelines on parking, driving, and more. See more information here on details.

MALVERN, PA – Malvern Borough officials announced Tuesday that a snow emergency will be in effect Tuesday night through Thursday night due to the impending storm set to hit the region.
The emergency status begins at 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 6 and will be effective until 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8.
According to the borough, during the emergency, it is unlawful:

- for any person to park a motor vehicle or to allow the same to remain parked, on any highway or portion of highway listed below;
- to operate any motor vehicle or tractor on any such highway, or portion of highway listed, unless such vehicle or tractor is equipped with adequate equipment to provide sufficient traction to keep such vehicle or tractor in motion so that other traffic on such highways will not be blocked or seriously impeded.

The following are snow emergency roads in the borough:

- Bridge Street – from King Street to Old Lincoln Highway;
- King Street – from the eastern Borough line to the western Borough line;
- Monument Avenue – from Sugartown Road to Warren Avenue;
- Old Lincoln Highway – from the eastern Borough line to the western Borough line;
- Sugartown Road – from the southern Borough line to King Street;
- Warren Avenue – from Paoli Pike to the northern Borough line.
Vehicles violating the snow emergency rules will be ticketed and towed, according to the borough.
Residents are also asked to park vehicles in driveways and off streets during the emergency to allow fire, ambulance, and other necessary vehicles access to all neighborhoods.
