More Outdoor Dining OK'd For Malvern Eateries
Malvern Boro extended permits that allow extra outdoor dining, and Anthony's can add outside tables.

MALVERN, PA — Three Malvern restaurants were given the go-ahead to continue or create more outdoor dining, in the last meeting of Malvern's Borough Council.
The Flying Pig at 121 E. King St. and Restaurant Alba, 7 W. King St., were each granted 60-day extensions of their existing permits for expanded outdoor dining, and Anthony's Pizza & Italian Restaurant, 127 W. King St., was permitted to expand its outdoor dining area.
The Flying Pig has been open for outdoor dining since June, with tables set up on the side of the building to accommodate more guests. That situation will continue.

Restaurant Alba is a fine dining restaurant that recently received the 2020 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. It's added an outdoor garden space over the summer to allow for social distancing when dining.
Malvern Borough Council approved forbearance agreements for the extensions and for Anthony's permit in its Aug. 18 meeting.
