New Chief Sworn In At Willistown Police Department

Captain Robert Klinger was sworn in as chief Monday after Chief John Narcise retired on June 12.

WILLISTOWN, PA — Willistown Township now has a new police chief.

Captain Robert Klinger was sworn in as chief Monday after Chief John Narcise retired on June 12.

Klinger joined the Willistown Police Department in 1989.

He possesses a master's degree from Villanova University, and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.

Willistown Township Board of Supervisors Chair William R. Shoemaker and a local judge presided over the ceremony which was held in Rita Reeves Park.

According to the Radnor Fire company — of which Kilnger is an honorary member as well as a member of the Board of directors and serves as the company's treasurer — Pennsylvania State Police, Willistown, Chester, Radnor, Tredyffrin, Easttown and many other local police departments attended the swearing in ceremony.
