MALVERN, PA — Niche.com’s rankings for best high schools for athletes are out, and the results are good for Great Valley High School.
The school was ranked the 20th best high school for athletes in Pennsylvania.
Other local schools that were ranked well include Lower Merion High School which took the top honors as the best school for athletes in PA, Coatesville (4th), Harriton (5th) Spring-Ford (6th), Conestoga (7th), and Radnor (9th).

Great Valley High School, which offers its students 25 sports to participate in, earned an "A" grade in sports from Niche.com. See Niche's full report card for Great Valley High School online here.
The ranking takes five factors into account, including a parent/student survey on school sports, the number of sports offered, the participation of girls, and, separately, the participation of boys, and expenses per student. Data is collected from Niche.com users, the National Center for Education Statistics, and the Civil Rights Data Collection service.
