
Tredyffrin Township police are searching for a bank robber who held up the Citizens Bank at the Paoli Acme Thursday night.
The following information about the robbery was released to the news media Friday afternoon by Tredyffrin Police.
On Thursday, November 14th, 2013 at 6:59 PM, Tredyffrin Twp. Police units responded to a hold up alarm at the Citizen’s Bank branch, located within the 39 Leopard Rd. Paoli Acme. A man in his mod 20’s to 30’s, medium height, approx. 6 ft. tall, medium build, brown hair, goatee or light beard, wearing a blue hooded sweat shirt or fleece with a red colored brimmed baseball hat, black pants and light colored athletic shoes, presented a demand note, stating that he had a gun and requesting money.
The robber fled the bank with approximately $ 1,700 in US currency.
