PECO Work To Affect Roads In 3 Chester County Townships

PECO work will hinder traffic on roads in East Goshen, West Whiteland, and Uwchlan townships next week, according to PennDOT.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — PECO Energy is planning single lane closures on several state highways in Chester County for utility construction, PennDOT said.

Work will be done in East Goshen, West Whiteland, and Uwchlan townships.

  • Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on westbound Route 3 (West Chester Pike) at Mary Fran Drive in East Goshen Township;
  • Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Malin Road and Maple Linden Lane in West Whiteland Township;
  • Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Aspen Lane and Keys Avenue in West Whiteland Township;
  • Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Church Road and Beechwood Road in West Whiteland Township; and
  • Wednesday, April 1, through Wednesday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) at Garrison Lane in Upper Uwchlan Township.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
