Road Work To Affect Valley Road In Willistown

Valley Road will have lane restrictions daily through Saturday for milling work, according to PennDOT.

WILLISTOWN, PA — Motorists will encounter lane restrictions on Valley Road in Willistown Township for resurfacing operations as a part of several projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway, PennDOT said.

Valley road will have lane restrictions Monday through Saturday for milling work.

Restrictions will be in place each day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.n.

The affected area of Valley Road is between Whitehorse Road and Yellow Springs Road in Willistown and Tredyffrin townships.

Work on the project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, special signage and relevant training.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
