CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The latest coronavirus figures in Chester County show nearly 2,500 cases and more than 240 deaths to date.

According to officials, the county now has 2,497 cases of the virus as of Tuesday.

East Goshen Township has the most cases, with 146. East Vincent Township has the highest population percentage with the virus among all Chester County municipalities with 117 cases accounting for 1.68 percent of its population.

Newlin Township has the lowest case count of all municipalities with none.

To date, the county has received 11,101 negative coronavirus test results.

Of all Delco cases, 53.18 percent are women and 45.73 percent are men. The gender for 1.8 percent of cases is unknown.

The county has seen 241 coronavirus-related deaths.

Willistown has had the most virus deaths with 45 as of Tuesday.

Forty municipalities have not had coronavirus deaths.
