Two From Malvern Prep Named to 2016 U.S. Men's Lacrosse Under-19 Tryout Pool
More than 100 lacrosse players from across the country were invited to the U.S. Men's under-19 tryout pool.

Two Malvern Prep lacrosse players are among the more than 100 players from across the country invited to the United States Men’s National Under-19 team tryouts later this month.
Adam Goldner, class of 2016, and Charles Kelly, class of 2015, are among the 108 high school lacrosse players selected for the tryout pool, according to U.S. Lacrosse.
The tryouts will take place over three days, from June 29 through July 1, at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Maryland. After the three-day tryout, 50 players from the original 108 will be selected to return for a second tryout from Aug. 7 through Aug. 9 at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. Lacrosse said.

Twenty-three players will ultimately make the final cut and participate in the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Championship, July 7-16, 2016, in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.
Nearly 400 lacrosse players from 28 states applied for consideration to the tryout pool, including more than 140 who have committed to 2015 NCAA Division I tournament teams, U.S. Lacrosse said. The field was narrowed down to 108 with the help of various high school and college coaches from across the country.
