WILLISTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Motorists will encounter lane restrictions on Valley Road in Willistown for three days next week due to resurfacing work as a part of several projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, Valley Road will have lane restrictions Monday through Wednesday next week.

The restrictions will be in place those days from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

PennDOT said the affected area is between Whitehorse and Yellow Springs roads in Willistown and Tredyffrin townships for milling operations.

Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, special signage and relevant training.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
