Watch 'The Greatest Showman' In Malvern's Burke Park Sept 8

"The Greatest Showman" features music written by the Main Line's own Benj Pasek, who has won Oscars, Tonys, and Golden Globes for his work.

MALVERN, PA – Mark your calendars for Sept. 8, as Malvern's Burke Park is hosing a free outdoor movie event, and the film has its own Main Line connections.

The borough's Parks and Recreation Department will host Movie Night In The Park at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8.

Animated shorts will begin showing at 7 p.m. and the main feature – 2017's "The Greatest Showman" – will be shown at 7:30 p.m.

The event will feature free popcorn and drinks for those attending.

As for "The Greatest Showman," the Main Line's own Benj Pasek penned music for the film with his writing partner Justin Paul. The pair won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song for the film's song "This Is Me," and have won Academy Awards and Tony awards for their work on projects such as "La La Land" and the Broadway hit "Dear Evan Hansen."
