When's It Going To Be Nice Again In Malvern?

When’s it going to be nice again?

Residents throughout southeastern Pennsylvania collectively asked that question this morning, as they woke up to gray skies, wet roads, and temperatures startlingly brisk for June 3.

Powerful rainstorms swept the region on Sunday and Monday, washing away memories of crisp, clear, hot May days.

If you love dreary weather, sitting inside by the window with a book while the rain patters the glass pane, then there is good news for you: the sun isn’t expected to come back anytime soon.

Cloudy or mostly cloudy weather with a good chance of rain is expected through Saturday.

Temperatures will rise to 77 on Friday and 82 Saturday, so that spring chill will be gone from the air. But the sun isn’t predicted to peek through until Sunday, and a “mostly sunny” day is entirely absent from the radar, save for next Wednesday.

Thursday: High 67, Low 55, AM showers, 20 percent chance of precipitation

Friday: High 77, Low 60, cloudy, 20 percent chance of precipitation

Saturday: High 82, Low 57, PM thunderstorms, 40 percent chance of precipitation

Sunday: High 78, Low 59, partly cloudy, 10 percent chance of precipitation

Monday: High 83, Low 68, thunderstorms, 60 percent chance of precipitation
