Work Affecting 3 East Whiteland Roads Over 2 Weeks

EAST WHITELAND, PA — PECO and Verizon are planning work on three East Whiteland Township roads for the next two weeks, causing lane closures in the township.
According to PennDOT, PECO will have weekday lane closures on Sproul Road/Route 352 between Rosemont Avenue and Summit Road due to utility construction.
The closure will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24, and from Monday, April 27 through Tuesday, April 28.

Additionally, Verizon will have a lane closure due to utility work on Lancaster Avenue, as well as Morehall Road, in East Whiteland for the next two weeks.
Lancaster Avenue will have a lane closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, to Friday, April 24, as well as Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1.

The lane will be closed between Morehall Road/Route 29 and Valley Road.
Additionally, Moorehall Road will have a lane closure from Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1.
The closure will be in place weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Lancaster Avenue/U.S. 30 and Matthews Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
The scheduled work is weather dependent.
