2 Projects Affecting Route 3, Interstate 476 In Marple
Excavation work and pothole repair in the Marple area will affect traffic on two major thoroughfares this week, PennDOT said.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Traffic on Interstate 476 and West Chester Pike/Route 3 in Marple will be affected this week by two projects, according to PennDOT.
Drivers will see single lane closures in both directions on West Chester Pike between the Interstate 476 Interchange and New Ardmore Avenue in Marple.
The closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, through Saturday, Nov. 3.

Additionally, Interstate 476 lane closures are scheduled in both directions between Media/Swarthmore Interchange and County Line Road overpass in Marple, as well as Radnor, Springfield and Nether Providence townships, Monday, Oct. 29, through Friday, Nov. 2.
Closures will be in place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for pothole repair.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area.
