Delco To Unveil Health Department Team Next Week

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA ? The long-awaited Delaware County Health Department will be formally introduced to the community next week.

After spending months developing its own health department, the county on Tuesday will introduce the Health Department Team to the public.

The team will provide an overview and outline the functions and benefits that the new County Health Department will provide to the community.

Health Department leaders will share how each of their areas are focused on the improvement of health, safety, and quality of life of Delaware County residents using local data, resources, and service partners.

Each leader will expand on how they are working to address health equity for all residents to build a healthy, thriving, and stronger Delaware County.

Local healthcare partners will be in attendance and recognized for their partnership and their shared passion and dedication in helping the County launch a Health Department and build healthy, thriving communities.
