4th Annual Blood, Sweat, Cheer, Fitness and Family Fun Festival

The Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association officially announces the 4th Annual Blood, Sweat, Cheer Festival on Sunday, September 29th with presenting sponsor SAP. Festivities will be held at the Delaware County Veterans Memorial located at 4599 West Chester Pike in Newtown Square PA from 9am to 2pm, with all net proceeds going to operations and education of the Memorial.

Guest speakers and local honorees will be recognized at the Festival and numerous sponsors and area vendors will have booths and displays open to the public.

The festival will consist of numerous activities for all ages including blood pressure screenings organized by Main Line Health and fitness inspired events such as a 5k trail run, yoga stretch, and Family Fun Walk as well as various fitness challenges. Live music from Fender Jackson will entertain crowds throughout the day as patrons also enjoy access to a Kids Zone with bounce houses, games and exercise activities. Access to these activities and the Kids Zone is free for all visitors, with entry fees for the 5k Trail run at $25 per entrant and $10 per entrant for a Family Fun Walk. Children’s events include a 50-Yard Dash and Home Run Derby, both of which are free to participate in. P.J. Whelihan’s of Newtown Square will be featuring their own food truck and beer garden with various items for purchase throughout the day.

Whelihan’s of Newtown Square. Apple Vacations has also offered the chance to win a trip including airfare and a hotel stay in Puerto Vallarta for registrants.
