6 Delco High Schools Among Best In PA: U.S. News
See which Delaware County high schools fared the best in the new rankings issued by U.S. News and World Report.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Six Delaware County high schools have been named among the best schools in Pennsylvania, with two in the top 20, according to a new ranking from U.S. News and World Report.
Radnor High School was ranked the highest among Delaware County high schools, coming in at No. 4 statewide and No. 265 nationally.
Strath Haven High School was the second-highest ranked Delaware County high school, earning the No. 16 spot in the state and No. 627 nationwide.

Below are the other Delaware County high schools on the list, their state ranking, and their national ranking:
- Haverford High School — No. 21; No. 731
- Penncrest High School — No. 41; No. 1,176
- Springfield High School — No. 53; No. 1,529
- Garnet Valley High School — No. 75; No. 2,074
The top 600 included 15 schools from across Pennsylvania. The only other school to crack the top 50 other than Masterman was Downingtown STEM at No. 34; these were the only schools that cracked the top 200 in the national ranking.

The methodology used for this year's ranking focused on six factors: college readiness, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rates.
