Beaver Statue, Plaque Stolen From Delaware County Trail Marker

Pennsylvania State Police said the statue of a beaver and plaque were stolen from the Minquas Indian Trail Mark in Rose Valley recently.

ROSE VALLEY BOROUGH, PA — A beaver statue and a plaque were stolen from a trail marker in Delaware County recently and Pennsylvania State Police are asking for help locating the items.

According to state police, the Minquas Indian Trail Marker and bronze beaver statue were stolen sometime between 5 p.m. Sunday and 5 p.m. Monday from Rose Valley Borough.

The statue and plaque are located near Rose Valley Road and Traymore Lane in the borough and have been in place since 1926.

State police said a $5,000 reward is being offered for the return of the items.

Anyone who has information on the statue and plaque are asked to contact state police at 484-840-1000.
