Marine units from various fire companies took to the water to search for the teen. Responders also search the creek bank on foot and used drones to search for the teen.

According to the Eddystone Fire Company, recent heavy rainfall made the creek's current fast enough to hinder responders' efforts to drag the creek.

But ultimately responders called off the search after about two-and-a-half hours.

The body was found Monday on the 1100 block of Eddystone Avenue in Eddystone.
