Coronavirus Testing Available In Delaware County This Week

People 12 and up, insured and uninsured, who live or work in Delco, have symptoms or were exposed, and are essential workers can get tests.

DARBY, PA — Members of the Delaware County community are invited to get tested for coronavirus this week in Darby.

Delaware County is offering public drive-thru coronavirus testing at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital
in Darby from all week.

Testing is available for insured and uninsured individuals 12 years of age or older who live or
work in Delaware County and have coronavirus symptoms, were exposed to coronavirus, or are considered critical/essential workers.

Individuals must pre-register online here to be tested.

If you have health insurance, please bring your insurance card to the test site. However, there are no out-of-pocket costs or co-pays for coronavirus testing.

Masks or face coverings must be worn.

Results typically take four to seven days. Those with a positive test result may be called by the Chester County Health Department Disease Investigation team to complete an investigation.

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital is located at 1500 Lansdowne Ave. in Darby.

Testing hours are:

  • Monday — 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Thursday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday — 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
