Delco Offering More Coronavirus Testing This Week In Darby

As of Friday, Delaware County has had 35,428 cases of the coronavirus. Residents can get tested this week at a drive-thru site in Darby.

DARBY, PA — Delaware County officials are again providing public drive-thru coronavirus testing this week.

Testing is available this week at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, 1500 Lansdowne Ave. in Darby

Insured and uninsured people 12 years of age or older who live or work in Delaware County and have coronavirus symptoms, were exposed to coronavirus, or are considered critical/essential workers, can get tested at the site.

Those with health insurance are asked to bring their insurance cards to the test site, however, there are no out-of-pocket costs or co-pays for testing.

Test results typically take four to sevens days. Those who test positive may be called by the Chester County Health Department Disease Investigation team to complete an investigation.

Masks or face must be worn at the testing site.

  • Monday — 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Thursday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday — 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
