Delco Offering More Coronavirus Vaccination Options

Delaware County Community College, Delaware County Wellness Center, Keystone First Wellness Center, and more are offering vaccination shots.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Numerous sites across Delaware County are offering coronavirus vaccines, including the four large-scale Delaware County Government clinics.

All vaccinations are free, and do not require identification or health insurance.

The Moderna vaccine will be offered to individuals 18 years of age and older at the Keystone First Wellness Center—located at 1929 W. Ninth St. in Chester—on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Moderna will also be available at the Delaware County Wellness Center— located at 125 Chester Ave. in Yeadon—on Friday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Pfizer vaccine will be offered on Thursday, June 3, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Delaware County Wellness Center, and is also being offered at Springfield Hospital—located at 190 W. Sproul Road in Springfield— through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Pfizer is available to individuals 12 years of age and older. Parents or guardians must provide consent for 12 to 15-year-olds who are receiving the Pfizer vaccine from Delaware County Government and must plan to be present during the vaccination.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be offered at the Delaware County Community College Drive-Thru Clinic on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In addition to these large-scale vaccination sites, the Delaware County COVID-19 Task Force is hosting a variety of smaller municipality-partnered vaccination clinics as part of the ongoing Pop-Up COVID-19 Vaccination Program. Single-dose Johnson & Johnson and two-dose Moderna will be offered.

Additionally, the Task Force will continue to partner with organizations to host both public and privately-accessible pop-up clinics, with sites this week at 69th Street Terminal, the George S. Hill Correctional Facility, Laborers's Hall 413 in Chester, the Williamson Trade School, and the Upper Darby Islamic Center.

Delaware County Government will also host a public vaccination clinic at the Government Center
Building in Media on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Appointments are not required. Individuals
should enter from the Courtyard entrance from North Orange Street or through the Courthouse entrance on West Front Street. Single-dose Johnson & Johnson and two-dose Moderna will be offered.

  • Thursday — 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Pfizer (12+)

  • Thursday — 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Residents who are homebound or unable to safely leave their residence can receive the vaccine in
their safety of their own home through the County’s Homebound COVID-19 Vaccination Program. To schedule a homebound vaccination for themselves or a loved one, residents should call the Call Center at COVID-19 at 484-276-2100.

Delaware County also provides second doses of Moderna and Pfizer vaccine to Delaware County residents who received their first dose at a non-county vaccine site but are unable to keep their second dose appointment at that site.
