DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Delaware County residents interested in serving their community in dire times are invited to sign up for the Citizen Corps.
The Citizen Corps is a branch of Freedom Corps.
It offers both medical professionals and non-medically qualified volunteers the opportunity to receive free training and to be part of a team to support a broad range of emergency/disaster responses to help our fellow citizens in Delco.

Situations in which the Citizen Corps are deployed include terrorism, crime, and public health emergencies, as well as natural, man-made, and technological disasters.
A virtual orientation on the Citizens Corps is being held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9.

Those interested in joining the orientation should sign up using this online form. After registering, you will get an invitation to join this Microsoft TEAMS video conference.
