recently annouced high school senior Christian Whiteside has committed to play football for Bloomsburg University' Division II football team.
The senior is an offensive lineman who has been named 1st team all Delco offensive line, 1st team all central offense and defense and will play in the Hero Bowl in June.
Whiteside, who also plays on the high school wrestling team (285), has said he will be majoring in biology at the university come fall.

"We are very proud of everything Christian has accomplished on and off the field," said Ray Gionta, Marple Newtown High School football coach.
