Historic Newtown Square Day Set For June 3
A car show, music, food, art, Lenape demonstrations, raffles, revolutionary soldier reenactors, and much more at the annual event.
NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA – The annual Historic Newtown Square Day is all ready to transport you back to Newtown's history with museum tours, demonstrations, revolutionary soldiers, and much more.
The day-long history fest will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 3.
The main hub of the event will be held in Drexel Lodge Park as construction continues next to the Square Tavern. Organizers says this location will offer better parking, more display space, access to the Newtown Square Railroad Museum, and the use of the covered pavilion in event of inclement weather.

Attendees will be able to tour the Paper Mill House & Museum, see the Newtown Square Friends Meeting & Cemetery, watch Lenape demonstrations, meet animals at Garrett-Williamson Barn, check out classic cars at the Delco Veterans Memorial, and much more.
A program book will be available at each site, with more history on the sites that are open this year and street addresses for your GPS. Guides will be on hand to answer any questions.

The Veterans Memorial will host a car show organized by the Historical Car Club of Pennsylvania. The show will run from 11 p.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to attend.

One $5 ticket for the day allows access to Tavern and Paper Mill House while access to ll other sites is free. Kids can enjoy all festivities for free.
The money that is raised supports education and historic preservation in the Township.
