Late Marple Officer's Drawing Being Sold On Shirts, Hats For Good

You can buy merchandise with a hand-drawn design from the late Officer Brian Niedleman to help other families of fallen first responders.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia-based group that supports families of fallen police officers is offering a way for community members to support others in honor of a late Marple Township Police officer.

Marple Township Police Officer Brian Niedelman died on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020.

The married father of two was found dead in his car in Thomas Field.

Now, the Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation non-profit is lending to other affected families with the help of the Niedleman family.

The foundation is selling shirts and hats in memory of Niedelman, who was 31 and a three-and-a-half year veteran of the Marple Police force.

The shirts, sweatshirts, and ball caps feature a skull design hand drawn by Niedleman himself.

Shirts cost $18, sweatshirts $30, and hats $35.

All proceeds from the sales will benefit the Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation.

Shirts and hats will be up for sale until 11:59 p.m, on Feb. 7.

So far, the sales have raised $4,725.
