Leaf Collections In Newtown Township Underway Now
Newtown Township public works crews are out collecting leaves, but residents can also drop off leaves at the public works yard.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Leaf collections are underway in Newtown Township.
Those who plan to have leaves collected by public works crews must rake leaves into even piles at property edges.
All leaves should be inside the sidewalk, and residents without a sidewalk must put the leaves inside the curb.

Leaves should not be allowed to spill onto the street.
All piles should be free of sticks, grass clippings, wood, branches, and rocks, as these will damage the collection machines.

In addition to collections, residents can drop off bagged leaves at the public works yard behind the Municipal Building, 209 Bishop Hollow Road.
Dates and times residents can drop off bagged leaves at the public works yard are:
- Monday through Friday, until Dec. 11, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Monday through Friday, Dec. 14 to Dec. 18 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 19 from noon until 6 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 20 from noon until 6 p.m.
All leaves should be put in biodegradable paper bags.
