Chanticleer Gardens

Hours: Wednesdays through Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The garden is also open on Friday evenings until 8 p.m. from May through Labor Day.

Longwood Gardens

Where: 1001 Longwood Rd., Kennett Square

Hours: Now through May 24: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; May 25 to Sept 2: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday–Thursday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday

Admission: Adults, $18; Seniors (Ages 62+), $15; Students, $8; Children ages 4 and under, free

Bartram's Gardens

Where: 54th Street and Lindbergh Boulevard, Philadelphia

Hours: Tuesdays through Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission: $12 per person; $10 for seniors, students, and children 2-16. Free for Bartram Members and children younger than 2

Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College

Where: 500 College Ave., Swarthmore

Hours: Dawn to dusk, year-round

Admission: Free
