Chanticleer Gardens

Where: 786 Church Rd., Wayne

Hours: Wednesdays through Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The garden is also open on Friday evenings until 8 p.m. from May through Labor Day.

Admission: Adults (13 years and older), $10; Pre-teen children (12 years and younger), free; Members of Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and local arboreta, $8; Radnor Library cardholders, $5; Garden professionals, free

Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens

Where: 631 Berwyn Baptist Rd., Devon

Hours: Every day from 8 a.m. to sunset

Tyler Arboretum

Where: 515 Painter Rd., Media

Hours: March 4 - Oct. 27, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 28 – March 2, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Henry Foundation for Botanical Research

Longwood Gardens

Bartram's Gardens

Where: 54th Street and Lindbergh Boulevard, Philadelphia

Hours: Tuesdays through Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission: $12 per person; $10 for seniors, students, and children 2-16. Free for Bartram Members and children younger than 2

Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College

Hours: Dawn to dusk, year-round
