Loomis Elementary's Pajama Drive Enters 12th Year
The Marple Newtown school is continuing its support for the Pajama Program, which new pajamas and new books to children in need.
BROOMALL, PA — Loomis Elementary School is continuing its efforts to provide significant contributions to the national Pajama Program with a pajama day and short school-wide assembly.
The assembly will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
Loomis teachers and students work extremely hard to start the holiday season off by doing good and showing compassion for others less fortunate through the Pajama Program each year since 2007.

In 2018, the school collected more than 1,000 new pajamas and 1,000 new books for those in need – all displayed in the auditorium for the children to view their meaningful impact.
Now in its 12th year, this Pajama Drive is something the school is so proud of and one of many good deeds happening each year at Loomis Elementary.

During the drive, the school will be decorated with all the hanging pajamas collected.
It is a half day for students and also a day the students and staff can wear PJs to school.
The assembly culminates with the announcement of how many pajamas have been collected this year.
