Man Broke Into, Ransacked Ex-Girlfriend's Home: Marple Police
Police said a 31-year-old man broke into his ex-girlfriend's home Monday then ransacked the place before being caught with her belongings.
BROOMALL, PA — A man has been charged with burglary and related crimes after police said he broke into his ex-girlfriend's home recently.
Marple Township Police said Mark Spinelli, 31, was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, and criminal mischief after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend's home on Franklin Getz Drive and ransacked the place.
Police were called to the home at about 12:42 p.m Monday for a burglary, but while on their way to the home got a second call about a domestic incident at the same home, with the caller saying a shirtless man left the home heading toward West Chester Pike.

One office found the man, later identified as Spinelli, and another spoke with the callers.
The victim told police when she got home Monday she found several windows and doors open.

She told police she left her home at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday her ex-boyfriend, Spinelli, showed up at the house, police said.
According to police, the victim said she and her sister walked through the home and saw it was ransacked.
The two women went outside to call police and then Spinelli came out of the house screaming and yelling, police said.
Spinelli left the area, heading toward West Chester Pike, but police found him there, police said.
The victim told police she did not give Spinelli permission to be in the home.
Police said Spinelli’s vehicle was found on West Chester Pike about a half mile away from the scene.
Police found items belonging to the victim in Spinelli's car, police said.
Spinelli was remanded to the Delaware County prison after failing to post 10 percent of $75,000 bail.
