Marple AMC Theaters Open With Increased Safety Protocols

Several AMC theaters in the Philadelphia area have opened with additional safety and cleaning measures in place.

MARPLE, PA — Movies are back in the Marple area, as AMC has opened some of its theaters in the Philadelphia region.

AMC reopened several theaters in the region on Jan. 4, the Marple location included.

Movie buffs can once again catch flicks at the AMC Marple 10, 400 South State Road in Springfield.

AMC has instated its "Safe and Clean" program.

As part of "Safe and Clean," theaters undergo electrostatic disinfecting between showings, as well as cleaning of common areas and high touch points.

Masks are required while in the building, but can be removed when eating and drinking in the theaters.

Theater capacity is also limited to 40 percent or less.

Additionally, theaters have hand sanitizing stations throughout them and staff are routinely screened for coronavirus symptoms.

Other area AMC theaters that are now open include AMC Neshaminy 24, AMC Plymouth Meeting 12, and AMC 309 Cinema 9, among others.
