Marple Mosquitoes Test Positive For West Nile Virus
Pennsylvania's West Nile Virus Control Program recently announced mosquitoes in Marple Township tested positive for the West Nile Virus as of Aug 10.
BROOMALL–State officials reported on Friday that 106 mosquito and one avian samples tested positive for West Nile Virus as of Friday, Aug. 10.
Marple Township was included on the list for mosquitoes testing positive for West Nile.
Other Delaware County towns included on Friday's list are Nether Providence, Springfield, Radnor, and Yeadon townships.  and  had previously tested positive for the virus.

The Department of Environmental Protection and County West Nile Virus staff are responding with additional surveillance and control as needed in these areas.
