Members Needed For Trails and Greenways Committee In Newtown

They will implement the Greenway and Open Space Network Plan, which seeks to make Newtown a more accessible and walkable community.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Newtown Township's Board of Supervisors this week voted to establish a new committee that will implement the Township’s Greenway and Open Space Network Plan, and members for the committee are needed.

Township officials are now establishing the Newtown Township Trails and Greenways Committee.

The committee will be integral in implementing the plan, which seeks to make Newtown Township a more accessible and walkable community.

Five residents are sought for the committee to serve five-year staggered terms.

Residents interested in serving on the committee submit a letter of interest and/or resume by June 30 to Suzanne Wolanin at wolanins@newtowntownship.org or mail them to Newtown Township, 209 Bishop Hollow Road, Newtown Square, PA 19073, Attention: Suzanne Wolanin.
