More Free Coronavirus Testing Offered In Delco This Week

Residents can get tested for the coronavirus at two locations this week, with results expected to take four to seven days. See details here.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — More coronavirus testing is available this week at two sites in Delaware County.

Officials said public drive-thru coronavirus testing is being done at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby and the US Army Reserve in Upland.

Testing is available for insured and uninsured individuals 12 years of age or older who live or
work in Delaware County and have coronavirus symptoms, were exposed to COVID-19, or are considered critical/essential workers.

Those with health insurance should bring their insurance cards to the test site. However, there are
no out-of-pocket costs or co-pays for testing.

Anyone coming to get tested must wear a mask or face covering.

Results typically come back in four to seven days. Those who do test positive may be called by the Chester County Health Department Disease Investigation team to complete an investigation.

US Army Reserve, 500 W. 24th St., Upland

  • Monday — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Tuesday — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, 1500 Lansdowne Ave.

  • Monday — 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Thursday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday — 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
