More Snow Fell In Delaware County, But How Much?
The overnight snowfall marked the third accumulation of snow in the past week in Delaware County. So how much fell throughout the county?
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Like it or not, Delaware County residents are dealing with more snow.
Overnight, several inches of snow fell across the Philadelphia region.
Lincoln University in Chester County got the most snow in the region with 4 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

But what about Delaware County?
The National Weather Service reports3.1 inches in Chadds Ford Township. That total was recorded at 8:50 a.m. Thursday.

Below are snowfall totals across Delaware County:
- Chadds Ford Township — 3.1 inches at 8:50 a.m.
- Upper Chichester Township — 2.9 inches at 5:36 a.m.
- Upper Darby — 2.9 inches at 7:45 a.m.
- Morton — 2.7 inches at 5:04 a.m.
- Aston Township — 2.5 inches at 9:05 a.m.
There is a chance we'll get even more snow and ice over the weekend.
The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for another system expected Saturday into Sunday.
There is a 50 percent chance of more snow Saturday, but current accumulation amounts are not significant. The Weather Channel predicts the Philadelphia region could get 1 to 3 more inches.
The weekend event "is not going to be a blockbuster snowstorm," forecasters with The Weather Channel said. However, the ice could make travel tricky. Here's more on that weekend storm.
Meanwhile, forecasters are eyeing another system early next week. Current estimates predict a Tuesday storm could bring 3 to 5 inches to the region.

Saturday Night: Snow likely before 9 p.m., then snow and sleet likely between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., then sleet likely after 10 p.m. Cloudy, with a low around 23. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 35.
Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21.
Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 30.
Monday Night: A chance of snow after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
Tuesday: Rain and snow likely, possibly mixed with freezing rain and sleet. Cloudy, with a high near 38. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
