Newtown Square Company Among Best Employers In US: Forbes

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA – A Newtown Square-based software company found itself ranked among the best employers in the nation, according to a new list from Forbes.

Among 10 Pennsylvania companies on the list was the software company SAP, which is headquartered in Newtown square.

Forbes' rankings were released on Tuesday and include 500 companies that have more than 5,000 employees.

SAP was ranked 25th in the nation and first in Pennsylvania.

In 2018, SAP was ranked 19th in the nation and second in Pennsylvania.

The popular grocery store Trader Joe's was ranked the top employer in the United States for 2019, according to the annual list. The rankings released on Wednesday name the 500 best.

Forbes also notes that Trader Joe's establishes unique base wages for each market and offers access to benefits to part-time and full-time workers.

For the America's Best Employers 2019 list, Forbes partnered with the research firm Statista, surveying 30,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees.
