Corrine Zanolli, a senior a Episcopal Academy who is committed to playing at Stanford, is called the U.S.'s "most dangerous forward."
A standout field hockey player at Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square was recently named to a national team for the third time in her budding career.
Corinne Zanolli, a senior at the school and future Stanford University field hockey player, was named to the U21 level of the USA Field Hockey National Team.
Zanolli is just one of four high schoolers to be selected for the collegiate-level team.

"As the past couple of years have shown the U-21 team is a great opportunity for our best athletes in that
age category to train and play together," said Janneke Schopman, current U.S. Women's National Team Head Coach and former U-21 USWNT Head Coach. "We see these athletes improve and become better players every time they are together. They also show great energy and commitment and are a great group to work with. I’m excited to see this group of players with lots of talent develop further!"
Team USA Field Hockey calls Zanolli, who is a senior honors student at the academy and a National Merit Semi-finalist, the "USA's most dangerous forward" after she played at the Rohmax Cup in Austria with the U.S. Women's National Indoor team.
Zanolli will join former Episcopal Academy teammates Margaux Paolino (Duke) and Maddie Backsai (Princeton), who are returning U21 players, on the U21 team.
The U21 team has two training camps scheduled this year, with the first in February in California where they will practice and scrimmage with the U.S. Women's National Team. The second training camp weekend will take place in March at Duke University in Durham, N.C.
Congratulations to Corinne Zanolli!
