Newtown Square First Watch Reopening Next Week

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — More businesses are planning to open up as the Philadelphia region enters the "green" phase of Gov. Tom Wolf's plan to reopen the state's economy. And a chain with an outpost in Newtown Square announced its plan to reopen.

First Watch will reopen its Newtown Square, and several other Philadelphia-area locations, Monday, June 29.

The Newtown Square First Watch is located at 3735 West Chester Pike, Suite 202.

First Watch restaurants will have modified floorplans, enhanced sanitation protocols, and new contactless pickup stations now in place to help ensure the health and safety of diners and employees

All employees are required to undergo a pre-shift screening, including a temperature check, to ensure they are in proper health and that it is safe for them to serve guests. They are also required to wash their hands prior to starting their shift and then every 30-minutes. In addition, staff will be provided with and required to wear PPE, including face coverings and gloves.

High-touch surfaces, including door handles, restroom surfaces such as faucets, the host area, and more, will be disinfected every hour. Additionally, First Watch will be providing single-use condiments when possible and regularly disinfecting all reusable containers, bottles and trays between every use.

Each restaurant will have hand sanitizer stations available for guest and employees upon arrival at the restaurant.

All First Watch restaurants will feature no-contact pickup stations.

First Watch will offer breakfast, brunch and lunch daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
