Newtown Square Italian Restaurant Closing Indefinitely
A popular spot for authentic Italian cuisine in Newtown Square is closing its doors indefinitely due to "unprecedented circumstances."
NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — A popular Italian restaurant in Newtown Square is closing its doors.
Trattoria Giuseppe on West Chester Pike in Newtown Square Monday announced it will be closing indefinitely.
"Because of unprecedented circumstances we had to close our doors indefinitely," a Facebook post reads.

The restaurant was opened in 2005 by Giuseppe Musso.
"Fifteen years ago we started something that we would’ve never thought it would become so big," he said on Facebook. "Throughout the years your continued support kept us thriving."

A former chef in Sicily and Switzerland, Musso brought authentic Italian cuisine to the area and grew the trattoria's reputation among its patrons.
"We would like to thank everyone who supported us, our beautiful staff, and everyone else that made Trattoria Giuseppe," Musso wrote. "We are so very grateful for these last fifteen years and may God Bless us always and forever."
