Newtown Township Collecting Christmas Trees For Chipping

For the next few weeks Newtown Township Public Works crews will be collecting trees set at the curb for chipping.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — Residents in Newtown Township can have their Christmas trees collected now that the holidays are over.

The township will be collecting tree for recycling now through Jan. 17.

All you need to do is put your tree at the curb with all decorations removed.

Crews will be making rounds in the township for two weeks, collecting trees for chipping to be used in parks and on trails.
