Pet Vaccination, Microchip Event Set For Jan 9 In Newtown Square

The Providence Animal Center is hosting the vaccine and microchip event and there are no appointments needed. See additional details here.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA – The Providence Animal Center helps all animals, regardless if they have a family or are strays. And its mission to protect animals continues in 2018 as it is offering vaccinations and microchipping in Newtown Square on Tuesday Jan. 9 to keep your fur babies safe in the new year.

From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, the Niemeyer Corporation, 19 S. Newtown Street, will host the animal center's special event.

You can get Dewormer, Distemper, Bordetella, Rabies, Lepto, Canine Flu (both offered), Lyme, FeLV (felines) shots for $10 to $20, depending on the vaccines needed.

Additionally, microchips cost $35 and include lifetime chip registration.

Those looking to use the service do not need appointments.

All dogs must be on leash and all casts must be in carriers.

The deadline to use the service is 5:30 p.m., so make sure you're in line by then.

Cash and major credit cards will be accepted at the event.
