Pop-Up Coronavirus Vaccine Clinics In Delco This Week

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — More pop-up coronavirus vaccination opportunities are available this week in Delaware County.

Clinics are being held in Lower Chichester, Upper Chichester, Upland, Brookhaven, Nether Providence (Garden City), Nether Providence (South Media) this week at various times.

All vaccinations are free. No identification, health insurance, or appointments are required.

The Pfizer vaccine will not be provided as part of this program; therefore, vaccinations are only offered to adults ages 18 and over.

Residents will be offered a choice of either the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, or the two-dose Moderna vaccine. Second doses for those who prefer the Moderna vaccine will be scheduled for the same community approximately five weeks after the first dose, within the 28- to 42-day window recommended by the CDC.

Pop-Up Clinics are typically held in the morning from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or in the afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Delaware County Council and the Delaware County COVID-19 Task Force’s recently-launched Pop-Up COVID-19 Vaccination Program is continuing its successful run through municipalities throughout the County, holding small community clinics at parks, libraries, fire stations, community centers, and municipal buildings.

Going forward, members of the COVID-19 Task Force will visit each of the 49 municipalities in the County—and may visit select municipalities multiple times if representatives from these communities believe that additional clinics would be beneficial.

Lower Chichester — Lower Chi Youth Center, 1410 Market Street, Linwood

• 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Upper Chichester — Upper Chichester Township Community Services Building, 1950 Market Street, Linwood

• 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Thursday

Upland — Upland Fire Co. Parking Lot, 1 McClintock Drive, Upland

• 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Brookhaven — Brookhaven Municipal Center Parking Lot, 2 Cambridge Road, Brookhaven

• 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Friday

Nether Providence (Garden City) — Garden City Fire Co., 412 Moore Road, Wallingford

• 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Nether Providence (South Media) — South Media Fire Co., 535 Washington Ave., Media

• 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
