Power Still Out For Hundreds Marple, Newtown Townships
Hours after Tropical Storm Isaias hit the Philadelphia region, hundreds of PECO customers in Marple and Newtown don't have power.
MARPLE-NEWTOWN, PA — Hours after Tropical Storm Isaias hit the Philly region, hundreds of PECO customers in Newtown and Marple townships are still without power due to storm-related impacts, according to PECO.
A total of 3,027 customers in Newtown and Marple townships do not have power as of 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.
According to PECO, 1,939 customers in Newtown Township do not have power, and 1,088 customers in Marple Township do not have power.

Newtown Township has 32 separate outages, while Marple has 40.

There is no word on when power will be restored.
Delaware County overall has 16,862 customers without power from 398 separate outages as of 8:15 p.m., according to PECO.
