Route 252 Reducing To One Lane In Marple Through Late September

PennDOT said bridge work on Route 252 in Marple and Upper Providence will force a portion of the road to be one lane through late September.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of Route 252/Palmer's Mill Road in Marple township will be limited to one lane for about two and a half months, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said bride work will force the road to be limited to one lane starting Tuesday, July 13 and lasting through Thursday, Sept. 30.

The affected portion of the road is between Newtown Street and Lakeview Drive Marple and Upper Providence townships.

Traffic will be controlled by a temporary signal, according to PennDOT.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur.
