Santa Claus Is Coming To Broomall, Newtown Square

BROOMALL-NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — Santa Claus is coming to town this weekend in the Broomall and Newtown Square areas.

Both the Newtown Square and Broomall fire companies are holding their own, separate events with Santa Claus.

The Jolly Elf will be in Newtown Square Friday and Saturday, as well as in Broomall Saturday.

In Newtown Square, Santa will be making rounds Friday and Saturday with the help of the Newtown Square Fire Company.

Santa will traipse around the area from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on a fire truck. He will also be escorted around Newtown Square from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Out of caution, candy canes will not be handed out this year and those coming out to see Santa are urged to keep distance from Santa and firefighters.

The Newtown Square Fire Company Facebook page here will post any updates to Santa's schedule.

But before he makes rounds Saturday evening in Newtown Square, he will be hanging out at the Broomall Fire Company.

Santa will be at the fire company from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Residents will be able to greet Santa by driving through the firehouse for a safe distance holiday meeting.

In addition to hosting Santa for a few hours, the fire company is also collecting items for donation to social organizations that help out those in need.

• Diapers
• Glass Cleaner
• New Towels
• Paper Towels
• NEW Wash Cloths
• Paper Plates Hand Sanitizers
• Batteries (all sizes)
• Fabric & Air Fresheners/deodorizers
• Baby Wipes
• Cleaning Supplies (laundry detergent, liquid soap, etc.)

The Broomall Fire Company is located at 1 N. Malin Road in Broomall.
