DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — A major snow storm has been rolling through the Philadelphia region since Sunday, dropping several inches of snow in Delaware County so far.
Many municipalities in the county declared snow emergencies and some school districts have given students and staff the day off as about three inches have fallen so far in Delaware County and the National Weather Service predicts up to 9 more inches could fall in the region during the day Monday.
Delaware County Governmental & Judicial Offices will be closed to the public Monday and coronavirus tests scheduled for Monday in Darby will be rescheduled.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning continuing into Tuesday morning, with another 2-4 inches of snow on the way, as 1-3 inches may also accumulate during the day today.

As of 4 p.m. Monday, just five power outages have been reported in Delaware County by PECO, one in Newtown Township and two in Middletown and Ridley townships.

- Glen Mills — 4.0 inches at 1:18 a.m. Monday (Public)
- Springfield Township — 3.0 inches at 9:24 p.m. Sunday (Trained Spotter)
- Villanova — 2.8 inches at 9 p.m. Sunday (Trained Spotter)
- Upper Chichester Township — 2.7 inches at 9:28 p.m. Sunday (Trained Spotter)
- Upper Darby — 2.5 inches at 11:54 p.m. Sunday (Public)
- Chelsea — 2.5 inches at 8:51 p.m. Sunday (Public)
- Chadds Ford Township — 2.5 inches at 7:30p.m. Sunday (Trained Spotter)
- Cheyney — 2.1 inches at 6:55 p.m. Sunday (Trained Spotter)
- Parkside — 2.0 inches at 6:45 p.m. Sunday (Public)
