According to a new report from the Philadelphia Business Journal, the Marple Newtown School District has the 23rd highest median household income and the third highest median home prices of Philly-area districts.

As for the Marple Newtown School District, its median income of $97,315 makes it the 23rd highest in the region. The district also has median home value of $372,700.

These ranks were created based on the recent U.S. Census data for school districts across the state.

Four districts in Pennsylvania had median home values exceeding $500,000, all of which are in the Philadelphia region.

Radnor Township School District has the state's highest median home value, at $651,600, and the eighth highest household income with $114,063.

The Lower Merion School District has the area's second highest median income with $128,410.

The Tredyffrin-Easttown School District has the highest median income, which is $133,983.
