Why are you seeking elective office?
What I do is serve. For years, my residence didn't have representation that gave opportunities to those who didn't have a reach. Now with my privilege as a State Representative, I need to continue on my decade long journey to continue to empower those who didn't have a chance before. I'm seeking an elective office to carry on my mission to improve our district by directing more resources to our schools and advocating for the issues that aren't given light. I'm seeking an elective office to carry on the legacy I've built and to forge a path for the new leaders for tomorrow.
The single most pressing issue facing our state/nation is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The single most pressing issue facing our state/nation is the minimum wage. I continue to make the case to increase support of raising the minimum wage. I have and intend to continue gaining policy adopters, we are in a strong march toward securing 102 votes in the House and 26 in the Senate.
