Winslet's revelations about Wawa, Saturday Night Live's parody sketch, and the difficulty of nailing the Delco accent have made headlines locally and nationally.

The show also features Haverford College, Coco's, LaSpada's, and more local establishments and institutions.

It was shot all around the Philly area, including in Don's Deli in Boothwyn, Kmart in Coatesville, Wissahickon Valley Park in Philadelphia, Phoenixville, and of course Easttown.

"Mare of Easttown" creator and screenwriter Brad Ingelsby knows those things well, as he is a Berwyn native and graduate of Archbishop John Carroll High School and Villanova University.
